Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Arrival (D)

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel. Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with motorbikes and cars, excited by numerous shopping area and sidewalk cafés. (If time permits) we stroll around the down town to explore the different local ways of life. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

The sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City begins with a visit to the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum before continuing to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where everything and anything is for sale! We drive out this afternoon to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network of approximately 200 km constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Cai Be – Cantho Cruise with Le Cochinchine luxury Boat (B,L,D)

11h00 boarding Le Cochinchine boat. Enjoy welcome drink

Explore the lively Cai Be floating market. Cruising amongst the mazes of waterway to visit the handicraft villages and meet with local people. Sightseeing the old house and sample various tropical fruits.Arrive in Vinhlong we then embark on a walk or bike for sightseeing tour of the Culao Binh Hoa PhuocLe Cochinchine sets sail to Cantho via Cho Lach and Tra On.Disembark Cho Lach village. Embark on a pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people activities. En-route to visit a cottage industry, a local farm and sample seasonal fruits. Cruise to continue to Mang Thit. Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the river. Leisurely cruise up the Mekong River while enjoying the beautiful scenery and the aperitifs, sunset cruise.A wonderful day with picturesque ferry crossings over Mekong River branches. Dinner and night on board in Tra On.

Day 4: Tra On – Cantho - Saiggon (B/L)

Rising up to the sound of River and Mekong Delta coming to life for another lovely day we enjoy the sunset.

After breakfast, we cruise along the cannels and visit a village on the bank of Co Chien or, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life of the local inhabitants, and their hospitality. Leisurely cruise up the Bassac River while enjoying the beautiful scenery Arriving Cantho, we explore the Cai Rang market, one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats ladden fruits barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. Boat through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards, ship building yards, local markets in full swing.

11h00 Check out and disembark the boat. The cruise concludes.

Day 5: Saigon Departure (B)

After breakfast, you have time to relax or shopping until transferred to airport for your ongoing flight. End of the service.
